Students of Presidium, Palam Vihar, recently organized a special assembly to celebrate the occasion of ‘Basant Panchami’, the festival that marks the onset of the spring season. Dressed beautifully in yellow coloured clothes, students offered flowers to Goddess Saraswati. The special assembly commenced with a unique performance by the students on ‘Saraswati Vandana’ followed by a presentation on various aspects of the festival as well as the importance of showing respect to books, the repositories of wisdom and knowledge.
