On the festival Raksha Bandhan, a sister ties a rakhi on her brother’s wrist and prays to God for his prosperity and happiness. The brother gives her gifts as a token of his love and promise to protect her. Students at Presidium Palam Vihar celebrated this pious festival in their distinct way throughout the week. They put their heart and soul into crafting beautiful rakhis. Their creativity was truly praiseworthy. A special assembly was also organised to celebrate this day full of love and care.  The programme was a colourful blend of songs and a skit with the students highlighting the importance of the festival.
