WORLD GIRL CHILD DAY: SPREADING THE MESSAGE OF GENDER EQUALITY

The International Day of the Girl Child is celebrated annually on October 11 to raise awareness about discrimination against girls and violations of their human rights To promote the cause, Presidians conducted a special assembly on ‘Save the Girl Child’. The young leaders talked about the importance of girls’ right to equal education and their fundamental freedoms followed by motivational thoughts shared through placards. With spectacular performances, the students encouraged everyone to raise awareness about the different types of social discrimination and exploitation that girls face in their life and actively participate to build a better future for all. Through this assembly, Presidium successfully fulfilled it’s aim of creating socially responsible citizens.
