"The world is not made of atoms. The world is made of stories!" - Muriel Ruykeser
Creating a reading culture in a school is essential if you want to encourage students to become engaged and motivated readers. To do so, Presidium Palam Vihar recently organized a 'story reading competition' for its students from grades 1 to 3. Besides developing pronunciation, reading and listening skills of the young minds, the story reading session also helped them in recognizing new words and understanding the context better. Students also learnt the purpose and power of adjectives as they heard and constructed a clear vision of the story. This activity inspired and motivated them to read more stories!
