Ganesh Chaturthi , also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi is the Hindu festival that reveres god Ganesh. A ten-day festival, it starts on the fourth day of Hindu luni-solar calendar month Bhadrapada, which typically falls in Gregorian months of August or September. A special assembly was organised to mark the festivities of Ganesh Chaturthi. Students offered their pious tribute to Lord Ganesha through beautiful morning assemblies. A lovely skit and scintillating dance performance adorned the event. Students learnt the symbolic meaning of the elephant headed God and rituals related to Ganeshotsav, Anant Chaturdashi & Visarjan.
