Packed with immense love and respect for the spirit of motherhood, the Presidians of Palam Vihar recently conducted a special assembly on the occasion of Mother's Day. They presented several wonderful performances to show how our mothers do everything for us and never ask for anything in return. Summing up some cherishable memories dedicated to this bond of love, the assembly urged all to always honour their mothers with all their hearts!
PRESIDIANS IMPRESS ALL THROUGH THEIR ORATORY SKILLS IN ELOCUTION

Admiration comes easy to a person, who is endowed with the fine art of public speaking, who adorns common thoughts
with the grace of elocution, and the elegance of style!
The story teller’s academy of mass communication built a platform for the students of Presidium Palam Vihar to be a fine public speaker through an Elocution Competition. All the participants performed exceptionally well and the competition witnessed a close connection of students to Mother Earth. Through this competition, the students learnt and built their public speech in an interesting and captivating way!

At Presidium Palam Vihar, it was once again time to nurture leadership by celebrating the time-honoured tradition of the Investiture ceremony. Marking a significant beginning of the new academic session, the ceremony was aimed at donning the future leaders, the mantle of responsibility by the honourable Chairperson of Presidium, Mrs. Sudha Gupta. Sudha Ma'am not only ceremoniously presented badges and administered oath of office to the newly appointed members of the Student Council, but also inspired the students to aspire for greater heights. Marching with their heads held high, the newly elected council members seemed ready to shoulder the responsibilities, deeply resonating the school’s philosophy of creating global leaders.

Our honourable Chairperson, Mrs. Sudha Gupta strongly believes in this vision and hence, she recently graced the vivacious ceremony - Chairperson Honours, at Presidium, Palam Vihar. With the aim of honouring the earnest intelligence of the students with utmost zeal and exuberance, Sudha Ma'am acknowledged the young leaders with prizes for their accolades. The parents and mentors of these scholars couldn't have been more proud to see their wards being recognized in such an extravagant way. Relishing the essence of dignity, triumph, elation and celebration, the leaders of tomorrow unravelled the journey of transforming their signatures into autographs.
THOUGHTFUL STUDENTS PROMOTE HABIT OF READING ON WORLD BOOK DAY

We at Presidium love the inquisitive minds of our young learners. But, what we relish the most is when they know how to fetch the answers to their questions by themselves. Nothing better than books can quench their thirst of knowledge, so, to celebrate the gala of words & the joy of reading, on World Book Day, the Presidians not only fostered their habit of reading, but also commended their favourite authors, illustrators and books. As they say, a little magic falls out everytime a book opens, on this day, the avid readers indeed became the magicians!
GREEN LOVERS AT PRESIDIUM GIVE A NEW DEFINITION TO THE EARTH DAY

To connect this beautiful thought with the life of our students in meaningful way, we recently celebrated the Earth Week at Presidium, Palam Vihar. Earth Day supports protection of the environment, and has continuously drawn more and more people in each subsequent year. Considering that Earth Day is a great time for learning more about our environment, the young Presidians took small steps to care for our planet. The little ones spread awareness on Save Water, Save Electricity, Grow Plants, No Plastic, and Save Fuel. Students made bookmarks, giving positive messages like - Keep the Earth Clean, Hug a Tree, and Love the Earth. Council members took the campaign 'turn out the lights', wherein all classes were sensitized to turn off the lights and ACs in the classrooms, school and at home to promote 'Earth Hour'.
ITIHAAS WALK TO QUTUB MINAR BRINGS STUDENTS CLOSE TO OUR HERITAGE

Presidium endeavours to constantly enhance the knowledge and love of the students for the Indian culture and heritage. To provide another new learning experience about the Indian heritage, the Presidians recently went for an Itihaas Walk to Qutub Complex, Delhi. They were intrigued to know about the beautiful architecture curated by Mughal rulers and also understood the measures of Qutub Minar through the process of estimation. The Itihaas team also guided them in understanding the ways in which the monuments are getting damaged and highlighted their role in preserving the heritage of INDIA as the leaders of tomorrow..
PRESIDIUM'S STAGE REVERBERATES WITH GREAT ART ON WORLD DANCE DAY

The students of Presidium Palam Vihar recently observed the World Dance Day by organizing a SPIC MACAY (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth) program in the school premises. Shri Raj Kumar Singhajit Singh Ji and his wife Srimati Charu Sija Mathur Ji from Manipur chapter of SPIC MACAY, along with their accompanists, mesmerized and enlightened the students with their voluminous knowledge about the Manipur dance form. The eminent artists, both known for their mastery in Manipuri dance and classical art, performed and interacted with the students on this event. Both artists have been awarded with eminent honours and recognitions in the field of Manipuri Dance. Making education more holistic and meaningful, this initiative highlighted all that is abstract, subtle, inspiring and mystical in the world teaching one to look within oneself.
ETHOS OF BAISAKHI FILL PRESIDIUM'S PREMISES WITH OODLES OF FUN

Presidium Palam Vihar reverberated with enthusiasm during the special assembly conducted on the blissful occasion of Baisakhi. The motive of the assembly was to apprise our young learners of the rich culture and heritage of India. The students danced and performed on Punjabi folk songs, signifying the essence of Baisakhi. Since the festival is about rejoicing over the harvest of the crop of the season, Presidians cheered in full festive spirit. It was amazing to see them enjoy the festival to the fullest!
PRESIDIANS PAY HOMAGE TO THE MARTYRS OF JALLIANWALA MASSACRE

With the aim of bringing the history closer to the young Presidians of Palam Vihar, we recently took the initiative of sharing about the Jallianwala Bagh massacre with them in the form of a presentation and class discussion. The students learnt that the Jallianwala Bagh is a public garden in Amritsar, famous for one of the most tragic yet landmark events in the history of India, which exposed the inhuman approach of the British officials during their rule in India. Paying a tribute to the brave martyrs of the brutal event, the assembly filled the leaders of tomorrow with the boundless ethos of patriotism!
